We connect global partners, young experts, and Nepalese youth to create sustainable tech and education solutions. Together, we can grow Nepal’s innovation ecosystem and build a brighter future.
At Diyalo Foundation, we believe that solutions are best built locally. We are looking for (budding) entrepreneurs in Nepal who have identified clear issues but need technological expertise to solve them. Share your challenge and ideas with us, and we will help you build a solution.

Nyano Nani Babywarmer
The challenge: Hypothermia is a leading cause of neonatal death in Nepal, affecting up to 93% of infants born in hospitals across Nepal. The first Nepali-made baby warmer, the Nyano Nani, suffered from mechanical failures, poor heat distribution, and a user interface that was difficult for rural nurses to navigate.
Together with TU Delft, we improved the design and supported on business developmnent to scale production.
RealtimeWAS
In Nepal, over 80% of households are at risk of water contamination, and 140,000 people die annually from waterborne illnesses. Communities in rural areas lack affordable, accurate tools to test and treat their water. Existing solutions were either too expensive, too fragile for field use, or required expert training.
Since 2022, Diyalo Foundation has supported the Phutung Research Institute (PRI) in developing RealtimeWAS — an integrated system for real-time water safety.
